Cutting Methods For Several Typical Workpieces Of Band Saw Machine

1.The narrower the saw blade in the curve sawing method, the smaller the radius of the cut curve. Based on experience, a 12mm wide saw blade can cut curves with a curvature radius of approximately 70mm; A 25mm wide saw blade can cut curves with a curvature radius of approximately 250mm; A 35mm wide saw blade can cut curves with a curvature radius of approximately 450mm; A 50mm wide saw blade can cut curves with a curvature radius of approximately 800mm. When using a wide saw blade to cut curves with small curvature radii, you can first cut several radial saw edges, and then cut according to the curves.
2.When sawing the corners of a right angled shape using the straight inner angle sawing method, a circular hole can be drilled at the corner first, and then the sawing can be carried out in the direction of the arrow in the diagram. When there is a lot of room for turning, it can be directly sawed.
3. The bending sawing method is generally used to cut bent materials by drawing lines and sawing. Curve template sawing can also be used, that is, the curve template is placed on the saw ratio, and the workpiece is wrapped around the curve template and sent over to saw the corresponding curve. The curvature of the material should be appropriately matched with the width of the saw blade.
4.When using the inclined saw method to cut an inclined surface, the machine tool worktable can be tilted to the desired angle. It is also possible to make a wedge-shaped wooden board with a corresponding slope and fix it to the table without adjusting the table of the machine tool. When the workpiece is sent along this wedge-shaped wooden board, the required slope is sawed out.
5.When using the cone saw method to cut workpieces with one end larger and the other smaller, the template method is often used, which involves sawing a wooden board slightly longer than the workpiece to the required slope, planing all four sides, and using it as a template. The template should not be too thick, and the small head should be kept at around 10 millimeters. Then, use a wooden block as a stopper to nail the large head of the template. When sawing, press the workpiece against the template, and the surface template should be tightly attached to the saw blade. The formwork shall be made into two pieces, which shall be used interchangeably to improve work efficiency.
