There are two types of Cold Saw Blades:
High speed steel saw blade (HSS) and TCT toothed alloy saw blade:
The materials of high-speed steel saw blades mainly include M2 and M35. The cutting speed of the saw blade is generally between 10-150 meters per second, depending on the material and specifications of the workpiece being sawed; The coated high-speed steel saw blade has a cutting speed of up to 250 meters per minute. The tooth feed rate of the saw blade is between 0.03-0.15 millimeters per tooth, depending on the power, torque, and quality of the sawing equipment and the saw blade.
Outer diameter specification of saw blade: 50-650 millimeters; Saw blade hardness HRC 65; The saw blade can be ground, and depending on the specifications of the workpiece being sawed, it can generally be ground 15-20 times. The cutting life of the saw blade is 0.3-1 square meters (cutting the end face area of the workpiece), which is a larger specification for high-speed steel saw blades; Generally, high-speed steel with embedded plates (also available for sizes over 2000 millimeters) is used; Sawteeth are made of high-speed steel with embedded blades, and the substrate of the saw blade is vanadium steel or manganese steel.
The material of TCT gear alloy is tungsten steel; The typical cutting speed of a saw blade is between 60-380 meters per second, depending on the material and specifications of the workpiece being sawed; The feed rate of tungsten steel saw blades is between 0.04-0.08.
Blade specifications: 250-780mm; There are two types of TCT saw blades for cutting iron, one with small teeth, thin blade, high cutting speed, and long blade life, approximately 15-50 square meters; It is a disposable saw blade; One type is large teeth, thick saw blade, low cutting speed, suitable for sawing large-sized workpieces; The saw blade diameter can reach over 2000 millimeters. The lifespan of a saw blade is generally around 8 square meters and can be ground 5-10 times.
